The Marketing tab is the cross-channel command center. Instead of opening Meta, Google, TikTok, and Klaviyo separately, you see everything in one place — with totals, comparisons, and deep links into each platform.
Layout
- Cross-channel KPIs — total ad spend, ad revenue, blended ROAS, email revenue, email share of Shopify, channels connected.
- Daily spend chart — stacked bars by channel, so you see how you're allocating spend over time.
- Channel comparison table — one row per channel (Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Email). Sortable. Deep-links to each sub-tab.
Sub-tabs per platform
When you've connected a platform, a sub-tab appears in the sidebar under Marketing. Each sub-tab uses the same template:
- KPI hero — 6 tiles: Revenue · Spend · ROAS · CPC · CTR · CPM. With deltas + sparklines.
- Daily chart — spend over time.
- Campaigns table — sortable, searchable, grouped by campaign name.
- Date range selector — 7d / 30d / 90d / MTD / QTD / YTD / Custom.
- Sync freshness pill — green if synced within 24h.
- Refresh button — force an on-demand sync.
Blended ROAS vs platform ROAS
Every ad platform reports its own ROAS, and each one over-attributes. Meta thinks it drove 80% of revenue; Google thinks it drove 60%. Add them up and you get 200% attributed — which is obviously wrong.
Blended ROAS= Total Shopify Revenue / Total Ad Spend. It's the number that actually matches your P&L. Use it for budget decisions.
Email revenue attribution
The Overview shows email revenue as a percentage of Shopify revenue— not added to it. Klaviyo attributes revenue to email when an order happens within its attribution window; that revenue is already in Shopify (we don't double count).
A healthy established brand sees 25-40% of revenue attributed to email. If yours is <10%, email is an underdeveloped channel.
Creatives — per-ad performance
The Creativessub-tab (it appears once any ad platform is connected) is a grid of every individual ad across all platforms — thumbnail, spend, ROAS, clicks, purchases — sortable and filterable. Click any ad for its daily trend. It's the fastest way to find the creative that's quietly winning (scale it) or burning money (kill it).
Traffic and attribution (Google Analytics)
For where your traffic comes from and how it converts, connect Google Analytics 4 — it gets its own deep-dive tab under Performance. See Google Analytics.
