How the Recharge connection works.

Connect Recharge by pasting a read-only Admin API token from Recharge under Tools & apps → API tokens. Ecom Forward live-tests it before saving.

How is this better than inferring subscriptions from orders?

Order patterns only estimate, a pause looks like churn and a skip looks like a cancel. Recharge gives Ecom Forward the actual contract state, so MRR, active/paused/cancelled counts and cancellation reasons are real, not approximated.

How is MRR calculated?

By normalizing each contract to a monthly value, a £40 sub billed every two months is £20 of MRR. That's the true recurring number, not whatever happened to bill this month.

Does it change my subscriptions?

No. The Admin token is read-only. Ecom Forward reads contract and churn data and never pauses, cancels, or edits a subscription.
