AI Listings is Ecom Forward's product-content engine. Upload a batch of product info, pick a template, and Claude generates every title and description in minutes. Review, tweak, push to Shopify.
Workflow
- Create a template (once) — encodes your brand voice, format, length, SEO keywords.
- Start a batch — upload product info (title, category, key features).
- Generate — Claude writes drafts for every product.
- Review — tweak individual drafts in the batch detail view.
- Push to Shopify — chunked, self-chaining push writes titles + descriptions to your store.
Templates
A template tells Claude how to write. Good templates include:
- Your brand voice (“playful, direct, uses ‘you’ frequently”)
- Format constraints (5 bullet points, max 80 words, 3 emoji max)
- SEO keywords to include
- What to avoid (“never use ‘perfect for’, ‘game-changer’, or ‘revolutionary’”)
Save templates on the Templates page. Reuse across batches.
Batches
A batch is one generation job. The fastest way to fill one is by pasting a product page URL— Ecom Forward scrapes the title, images, variants, and details so you don't retype anything (ideal for dropshippers building listings from a supplier page).
- Go to Workspace → AI Listings → Batches → + New batch.
- Pick a template, then add products by pasting product URLs (or entering them manually).
- Click Generate. Claude writes a title + description for every product, translated into your store's language if the source is foreign.
- Open the batch detail page to review and tweak individual drafts.
AI product images
Optional, copyright-safe product images. On the batch page, click ✨ AI images on a product (or generate for the whole batch). It edits the scraped photo so the same product is kept while the background/scene changes — studio, lifestyle, or a mix — and can do one per colour variant. On push, the AI images can replace the supplier photos (the safe default) or lead the gallery.
Note
Pushing to Shopify
Once you're happy with the drafts, push them.
- On the batch detail page, click Push to Shopify.
- Push runs in chunks of 3 products at a time, self-chaining in the background.
- Progress is tracked in the DB — safe to navigate away or close the tab.
- If a chunk fails (Shopify throttled, network blip), the chain retries it.
Monthly allowances
AI content and AI images each have a monthly allowance based on your plan (it resets on the 1st):
- Captain: 300 listings + 500 AI images / month.
- Crew: 1,000 listings + 1,500 AI images / month.
- Fleet: 3,000 listings + 3,000 AI images / month.
You never see a price — it's a usage allowance, not pay-per-use. The batch page shows how many AI images you've used this month.
