Settings is the control room. Every account-wide preference lives here.
Appearance — dark & light mode
Ecom Forward runs in a dark theme by default. To switch to light, open Account (in the sidebar footer) → Appearance and pick Light. The choice is saved in your browser and is personal to you — a teammate switching themes doesn't change your view. The Command Center and the public website always stay dark by design.
Reporting currency
Pick from any major currency. Every chart, KPI, and export reflects it immediately via live ECB rates. Changing doesn't modify underlying data — it's a display-layer switch.
Notifications
- Daily morning digest — a short summary of yesterday, at 12:00 UTC. On by default.
- Monthly ROI recap — on the 1st of the month, a recap of the month that just ended. On by default.

Ford's alerts
Real-time alerts — the things that need a decision now — are controlled in the Ford's alerts panel on this same Settings page. Start with a preset (Growth / Profit / Ops / Everything), then set each alert to off, dashboard-only, email, or phone. Full detail in Ford's alerts.
Report ex-tax
For EU/UK stores where VAT is baked into Shopify prices. Toggle in Store Settings (not account settings) — applies per store. Flips the P&L to display revenue excluding tax.
Opening cash
Set your current bank balance so the Cash Flow tab can compute runway. Update whenever your actual balance diverges from Ecom Forward's calculation.
Setup checklist
New accounts see a setup checklist on the Dashboard. Settings has a toggle to hide it once you're done.
