Ford is your AI co-founder, part CFO, part COO, part CMO. Instead of handing you another dashboard to learn, he reads your business and tells you what's going on and what to do about it, in plain English. He's assisted, not autonomous: he analyses, advises, and can prepare actions for you to approve, but he never changes your data or spends money on his own.
The one rule that makes him trustworthy
Ford only ever speaks from your real, reconciled numbers. He never invents a figure, if he doesn't have something, he says so and pulls it. Every answer shows its sources (“Based on: …”), and the rule is the same one the whole platform follows: same label, same number you see in Shopify. That's the difference between an AI that sounds confident and one you can actually act on.
What Ford can do
- Answer anything about your business, profit, products, marketing, customers, cash flow and runway, support, reviews, chargebacks, goals, cohorts. He reads the same data behind every tab.
- Run a profit audit, find exactly where you're leaking money, ranked by impact, with the why and the fix for each.
- Watch for problems, his alerts reach you the moment something crosses a line.
- Write content, UGC/ad scripts and product copy, grounded in your real product performance and customer reviews.
- Do research, competitor and market intelligence, with sources, plus mine your own reviews for recurring themes.
- Prepare actions you confirm, e.g. create a task, or push new product copy to Shopify. He proposes; you click to approve.
He proves his work
When Ford makes a recommendation, you can track it as a Play. He records the baseline at that moment, then later measures what actually changed, building a running “Ford's P&L” of what his advice was worth, with receipts. Conservative by design: he only claims a win he can cleanly attribute.
He remembers
Ford keeps a memory of what he's concluded and what you've told him, so later conversations have context, “what did you say about that supplier last month?” works. He still re-pulls live numbers before quoting any figure.
What he won't do
Ford never edits your data, changes settings, spends money, or sends anything on his own. Anything with a real-world effect is a proposal you approve. He's a co-founder you trust with the thinking, you keep the wheel.
